2020 Mosquito Hill Chardonnay Bowtie

This wine was produced from our dry grown Magpies Song vineyard on the Fleurieu Peninsula. The wine was fermented in French oak hogsheads, averaging about 20% new oak and had a small amount of Pinot Blanc (14%) co-fermented with the Chardonnay. As with all Mosquito Hill Wines, we let the fruit do the talking, and this is no exception. 

The wine is powerful and complex with bright acid and generosity in flavour. Showing minerality, white peach and nectarine with an impressive length, this wine is drinking well now and will continue to develop beautifully in the bottle.
